I came across my son's old wind up crib mobile and decided to put the mics on it. The song plays 9 times, then runs out of spring tension on the 10th pass.

It's a winnie the pooh stocking that sings "we wish you a merry christmas" when you push it, but i decided to take one of the batteries out and see what happens. The result is rather funny. Recorded on november 27, 2011 with an ipod touch. Converted to wav with audacity.

Playing with my son we discovered that the fire alarm of his toy didn't work anymore it sounded more like housemusic.

It's a light spinning top that you have to magnet to its launcher. It must then be rotated around the base of the launcher before ejecting it. When it spin, it lights up. Recorded with olympus ls-p4 onboard microphones.

Inspired by a strange japanese number station i heard around 2012. I generated white noise, recorded an old toy, and found some public domain static and put it all together in this extremely eerie piece. It gets even creepier if you lower the pitch.

My wife bought me this cool remote control helicopter for my birthday, so i recorded it flying around the room. This is the sound of someone shaking a kinder surprise egg trying to guess what's inside (like in the tv advert). This is a simple sound that i recorded with a zoom h2n handy recorder. I just cut the extra recording parts, and added a noise reduction effect to clean it in audacity.
